Starting June 2022, Auckland Council requires properties not connected to a wastewater network to provide proof that their onsite wastewater system is functioning effectively. This means that your septic tank, aerated system, composting toilet, or any other wastewater treatment you may have must be serviced by a professional.

If you have a basic septic tank, it should be serviced at least once every three years. On the other hand, if you have a modern aerated system, it needs to be serviced more frequently, typically every six months. During the service, our professionals will clean out any pumps and filters, address any blockages in the tank or disposal field pipes, and provide valuable recommendations for further repairs or improvements that could enhance the system’s performance.
